Had the gearbox and diff oil changed at Austin Garages, Burton on Trent. I’m glad I didn’t do the job myself as access even with the car on my drive on ramps would have been very difficult especially doing the gearbox oil.
The gearbox mountings needed to be dropped to allow access to the filler plug. Nick precisely measured out the quantities of oil to ensure the correct amounts in each. It was clear to Nick that the oil has not been changed as recommended after the car had been “run in” ……. like most haven’t.
