My air con pump gave up earlier in the year and I’ve been running on a shorter serpentine belt that bypasses the pump pulley ever since. I’ve now got a mobile air con guy who is well into mustang classics coming to fit a new pump and condenser so I need to get things ready for him.

Removing the front bumper was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Remove to screws and a screw on each side under the wheel arch.

Pull the side attachments to release the bumper but don’t do what I did! …. make sure you detach the undercover screws not the lip screws then it’s just one electrical connector to disconnect and the headlamp hose making the lift a lot easier.

Now all ready and a good time to go round with the kurust to remove any early signs of rust.
