Based on a thread on the 75 &ZT Community forum it would seem that the bmw tilt module can be easily connected to the alarm module in our cars. This means that if the car is jolted or jacked up (day to steal the cat) the alarm will sound.
Sounds an interesting little project to add to the list – the module seems readily available and inexpensive as well.
