The voice control button needs to be quite close to the driver to easily activate voice conto whilst driving.
The switch loom is routed just under the door step trim – there is a handy channel that the loom can sit in. Then over the passenger foot well into the centre console behind the switch plate.
I soldered all the connections to ensure good contact…… and all works well.
Unfortunately I had to drill a hole into the switch cover …… I would have preferred to find a standard 3 hole cover and modified a button switch to suit – which I think others have done.
