I bought a pair of front springs as a back up in case my slightly pitted springs on the car now break. Rust spots can cause stress points which can lead to the spring breaking if it hits a bump especially in cold weather.
I think I might add this to my winter projects …. if I get the time. To remove and clean the struts, swop springs, paint them and refit.
I’ve now downloaded a “how to” from the 260s forum so have all the info and parts ready.
