For Sale – MG ZT V6 4WD | Summit Garage

An original PROTOTYPE MG ZT-T 4X4? This car started out at the MG factory in Longbridge as the first ever V8 tourer produced (chassis number 000004) as the previous 3 V8’s were saloons!

At the factory, it was converted to a V6 petrol 2.5 KV6 engine out of the Landrover Freelander along with an automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive system! This was to be named the MG Countrywise and would have been launched in 2005 if it wasn’t for the demise of MG Rover!

This particular car was saved from being crushed at the factory and entered into John Newey’s collection over 10 years ago! It’s still only done 7,600 miles today and remains the only one ever built and is currently enjoying our lovely warm showroom!
