Manufactured in Birmingham at the Longbridge car plant this rare V8 4.6 litre Mustang engine is in excellent condition. It is one of only 16 vehicles of this type remaining in the world. Finished in X-Power grey metallic with black/green half leather interior.
Although unnecessary, the engine has recently undergone a top half rebuild using genuine Mustang parts purchased from CJ Pony in the United States. This has increased its normally aspirated power output from 260 to 275 bhp making it a tad faster than before.
The vehicle benefits from a custom installed media centre which includes modern Satnav and reversing camera.The engine starts at the first turn of the key and runs smoothly.
Acceleration is excellent and goes on forever. The original silver alloys have been refurbished and are now a gloss black. The new E10 fuel would not suit this vehicle and although the government website has no information regarding this, it is generally accepted that 99 octane is the most suitable for this type of engine.
