A while ago I replaced the steering wheel switches that were not working with used replacements I got from eBay. They were not much better!

Before i installed the second hand switch i sprayed them with contact cleaner without dismantling them. This was probably where i went wrong as there is no way you can clean the switches without dismantling them …….. i didn’t realise that at the time. So as per my previous post on the subject and with the original switches out i dismantled them to expose the microswitches. I sprayed copious amounts of contact cleaner onto the switches and pressing them many times with my fingers.
I installed the reassembled and cleaned switches and they work fine.
