I had a solar charger that I originally bought to charge our motorhome but not now required. Considering I have fitted a dash cam that does not turn off and on automatically – if I switch it off manually I often forget to switch it back on again! So I have utilised the panel to ensure the battery doesn’t get flattened on longer periods we are away as I generally leave the dash cam running all the time.
I placed it on the rear shelf panel and took the lead behind and around the rear seat then under the floor covering to the battery in the back of the boot wheel recess …. it’s a 260.
Will just have to hope there’s enough sunlight to keep it going.
