A great day out at another of my favourite events of the year. An early start to pick up a friend with a similar interest in classics and a 55 mile drive to Stoneleigh on mainly motorways to arrive just as the doors were opening at 9.30am. An initial 2 hour tour around the stands then coffee and bacon cobs then around again when most of our purchases were done. Another coffee break about 2pm before our final round of the 3 halls leaving at about 3.30pm.
Then back to a very lonely car which was parked up in one of the empty halls ready for a drive home.
Took a long list with me of all the parts I was after but as usual all but one of my buys were not on the list ….. but am sure will be very useful!! …. one day.
Best part of the day is not what I bought but the drive there and back and the browsing through all the autojumble on display.
