Just so its clear what’s under the bonnet

My car came with no V8 badge on the wrong which I believe was standard. I cannot imagine if a V8 badge was originally fitted that either the factory (it was owned by MG Rover till they went bust) or the previous owner would have removed it. I wonder if early cars were fitted with such a badge.

Anyway the space looked a though it needed something but the correct V8 badges are very rare and expensive ….. I found a lot cheaper alternative on ebay that to me looks just as good …… see below.
